Never heard of Wilco before I listen to this album, but I must say, I enjoyed it. Starting to be a recurring theme for this blog at the moment, but if you ever get the chance to put on the sweet sounds of Wilco, do so. Don't be disappointed, cause I'm sure you wont.

494. MGMT, Oracular Spectacular
MGMT. I would not classify them as Rock. Not even close. More of an electro pop music that surprisingly have some good tunes to listen to on this album. Electric Feel is on this album and probably their best known song, but their sounds through out the album is pleasant and really wants you to go on an acid trip. Just has that spaced out kind of music to it.

495. Bonnie Raitt, Give It Up
This album seemed to go by quickly when I listened to it. Again, no idea who Bonnie Raitt is but her music is not quite country, not quite rock. Fast beats or slow beats, either way she produces some good music in this album. An artist that I could listen to again and if she came up on my iPod I wouldn't skip.

496. Boz Scaggs, Boz Scaggs
Who is Boz Scaggs? I have absolutely no idea. That's not to say this album is by a nobody. A quick search shows he has been around since the 60s, also with The Steve Miller Band. The soft melodies of this album draws me to it. Causal, laid back sound of soft rock/blues is evident through out the record. Lazy afternoon to set the mood to some chill out music, this is the album.

497. The White Strips, White Blood Cells
The first album on the list that I have all ready listen to. I have enjoyed The White Stripes for a few years now, so no real surprises here. I'm very bias as being a fan, and still following Jack Whites progression to solo artist now. One thing I will say, I honestly believe The White Stripes are the greatest rock band since 2000. Sure, it's open to debate, but the quality music Jack and Meg White produced not just on this album, but across the board, was something to behold. But just on this album their distinct sound can be heard from the onset right till the end.

498. The Stone Roses, The Stone Roses
Listening to this album, having not heard of The Stone Roses before and doing absolutely no research on them, I was pleasantly surprised by the sound. Originating from England, you get that distinct British feel of the album from the outset. If I had to compare it to other bands, I would say The Cure or Crowded House comes to mind. A nice Brit-pop album from 1989, I recommend if you haven't heard of The Stone Roses, get this album. Worth a listen to.

499. B.B. King, Live in Cook County Jail
Wow what an album. B.B. King went to a Jail in Chicago to give a performance for the inmates. Considering in the introduction you can hear the crowd booing the Sheriff and a Judge, B.B. King manages to entertain, enlighten and give joy to the crowd before him. Not much of a Blues fan, I can see myself on an easy Sunday Afternoon relaxing to some tunes by this great man.

500. OutKast, 'Aquemini'
I enjoyed listening to this. Not having a massive knowledge of Rap, R+B etc I found it easy to listen to. From the start I found myself engrossed in this album not knowing what was coming next. Easy beats used throughout the album added to my experience.
